Abstract

The article examines contemporary challenges in the gold mining industry associated with the depletion of high-grade ore reserves and the increasing complexity of extraction processes. Traditional gold extraction technologies and their limitations are analyzed, and innovative solutions are presented, including bioleaching, thiosulfate leaching, nanotechnologies, digitalization, and the use of artificial intelligence. The importance of implementing innovations to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability in gold mining is emphasized.
