This article examines Azerbaijan's investment policy in the development of the East–West international transport corridor for 2020–2025, based on empirical data, comparative analysis and multi-source financing. The study substantiates three key findings: Azerbaijan's allocation of approximately 3% of GDP to transport infrastructure; the increase of BTK railway freight capacity to 5 million tonnes; and the diversification of investment sources among SOFAZ, international financial institutions, the private sector and Chinese capital. The article also provides a comparative assessment of corridor development prospects to 2030 under three scenarios.
