Abstract

The article analyzes and summarizes official statistical data, analyzes and evaluates the changes in the number of employees working in the industrial production sector, gender composition, sectorial and territorial employment structure in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the period from the 70s-80s of the last century (1969-2023), especially during the years of independence (1991-2023), and the factors affecting them, and provides suggestions and recommendations for the effective use of labor in industry.
