Abstract

The article analyzes the impact mechanisms of digital transformation on the labor market from both theoretical and applied perspectives. The aim of the study is to assess the effects of digitalization on the structure of employment, the emergence of new professions and the disappearance of others, the economic value of digital skills, platform economy and freelance employment relations, as well as issues of state regulation and the adaptation of the education system.

As a methodological basis, comparative-statistical analysis, dynamic analysis, indexing, and content analysis approaches were used. In this context, digitalization and labor market indicators were analyzed comparatively, and an index graph was developed. The analysis shows that as internet usage, fixed and mobile broadband connectivity, ICT sector output, and value added increase in the country, both the quality component of employment in the labor market strengthens and wage dynamics accelerate. At the same time, digitalization places significant pressure on low-skilled and repetitive labor activities, increases the risk of occupational polarization, and makes continuous skills upgrading necessary. The article also substantiates new directions for the inclusive and productive development of the digital labor market.
