Scientific and economic assessment of the efficient use of domestic and foreign investments in the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Abstract

The article analyzes the economic efficiency of domestic and foreign investments directed to the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Azerbaijan from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. Within the framework of the study, the role of the energy sector in the national economy, the structure of investment flows, and the impact of these investments on production capacity, export opportunities, and energy security are examined. At the same time, the factors limiting the effective use of investment resources are identified, and the main development priorities aimed at increasing efficiency are substantiated. The conducted analysis shows that rational management of investments and diversification of the sector play a decisive role in ensuring sustainable development in the energy sphere.
